Go Dok Mi's unrequited Love in Flower Boys Next Door

Korean tvN channel broadcasted "Flower Boys Next Door" last night (7/1/2013). Once again, actress Park returned on screen with her matured look. 

In the 1st episode, due to her past pain that she has suffered, Go Dok Mi (starring Park Shin Hye) isolated herself from the world. The opening scene of the drama was set when Go Dok Mi set her alarm clock to ring at the same time with her neighbour's, Han Tae Joon.

With her messy hairstyle as if she has not slept a wink for the entire night, Go Dok Mi looked out of the window, facing her secret love Han Tae Joon (starring Kim Jung San) to 'tell' him that she have slept well. Following that, she followed Tae Joon to stretch, wash clothings, watched him went off to work and bid him goodbye sheepishly. 

From the past roles, Park Shin Hye has transformed from a typical outgoing girl to this brand new introvert character, Go Dok Mi. 

Go Dok Mi has fallen in love secretly to Han Tae Joon. Thus, her expressions and feelings kept changing. Sometimes happy, sometimes tears and sometimes worried. Her changes in sentiment has strongly attracted audience's attention.

Park Shin Hye's entertainment agency revealed, "The biggest turning point of this drama is that Go Dok Mi has to portray being an introvert who fears the world, she will gradually become someone who will open her heart to the world without any fear and this, shall be with the help given by the Flower Boys. "

After the broadcast of episode 1, netizens left their comments online saying, "Feels that the duration of the drama is too short", "Will be anticipating more for the 2nd episode", "Go Dok Mi = Park Shin Hye, what a perfect role!", "My heart feels so pain for the unrequited love of Dok Mi", "Daebak!! This drama is going to be very popular!" and etc.

The 2nd episode of the romantic drama, "Flower Boys Next Door", starring lead casts Park Shin Hye, Yoon Si Yoon  and Kim Jung San will be broadcasted tonight (8/1/2013) at 11pm KST.

"Flower Boys Next Door" Yoon Si Yoon and Park Shin Hye sparkled love by flicking the forehead.

The upcoming drama, "Flower Boys Next Door", directed by director Jung Jung Hwa, will be broadcasted on the 7th January, every Monday and Tuesday. Enrique Geum (starring Yoon Si Yoon) found out that Go Dok Mi (starring Park Shin Hye)  who was peeking at Han Tae Joon (starring Kim Jung San) and he used his fingers to flick her forehead.

This newly revealed picture of Enrique Geum who is flicking Go Dok Mi's forehead has attracted much attentions.

In the drama, Go Dok Mi is a ′city Rapunzel′ who never ventures outdoors. After being "flicked" by Enrique Geum, to Go Dok Mi herself, it is like the first step to opportunity.

In addition, "Flower Boys Next Door" is webtoon titled "I Steal Peeks At Him Every Day". The 1st episode of the drama will be aired on 7th January 2013 at 11pm KST on tvN channel.

Park Shin Hye reveals that Yoon Si Yoon is her ideal type

Actress Park Shin Hye recently confessed hat her ideal type is now Yoon Si Yoon.

The actress guest starred with Yoon Si Yoon on tvN’s “Taxi” to promote as their new drama, “My Flower Boy Neighbor,” which premieres on December 24.

Before her current project, Park Shin Hye had the opportunity to co-star with the likes of heart throbs such as Jang Geun Suk and CNBlue’s Jung Yong Hwa. But she had this to say instead about her ideal type, “I used to think long before that I wanted a funny guy, but nowadays, I want someone who is serious. Yoon Si Yoon is like an onion. The more layers you peel away, the more new and unexpected sides of him appear and they’re all charismatic.”

Upon hearing this Yoon Si Yoon said jokingly, “I already knew there would be a question like this on the show, so I asked Park Shin Hye to pick me.” When asked to compare the charms of Park Shin Hye to previous co-star Shin Se Kyung, Yoon Si Yoon replied, “Both actresses display a carefree attitude that I couldn’t possibly have, and they both have a lovely and charming image.”

When asked what kind of Christmas she wanted to spend with a lover, Park Shin Hye responded, “I wanted to hold hands and walk on the street. Yoon Si Yoon said that he wanted to visit a sheep pasture, eat spicy stir-fried chicken wings and visit WolJeongSa.

Park Shin Hye, Yoon Si Yoon spent a romantic Christmas with the casts of "Flower Boy Next Door"

BTN news reported that the Korean drama hot tv series (broadcasted only on Monday and Tuesday) of "Flower Boy Next Door" will be introducing the official casts of Park Shin Hye with the "4 Pretty Boys" - Yoon Si-yoon, Kim Ji-hoon, Go Kyung-pyo and Mizuta Kouk. As such, the casts have specially filmed a Christmas video for all. 

The plot for "Flower Boy Next Door" was changed and adapted using the popular webtoon, "I Sneak A Peek At Him Everyday". It is a romantic comedy about a girl named Go Dok Mi (Starring Park Shin Hye) who locks her self in her tower. She soon becomes aware of her new Flower Boy neighbour Enrique Geum and is caught sneaking peeks at him constantly.

The drama "Flower Boy Next Door" is the third instalment of tvN's Oh! Boy series after the first and second drama "Cool Guys Hot Ramen" and "Shut Up Flower Boy Band". Park Shin Hye, with actors Yoon Si-yoon and Kim Ji-hoon will end up in a love triangle and make this winter a sweet and romantic one. 

Meanwhile, Yoon Si-yoon and Park Shin Hye are partnering each other for the first time in tvN new tv drama for "Flower Boy Next Door". The first episode of the drama will be broadcasted on 7th January 2013, every Monday and Tuesday, at 11pm KST.

Kim Yoon-hye joins Flower Boy cast

When it rains, it pours: Another addition rounds out our Flower Boy Next Door cast, with Kim Yoon-hye jumping onboard. If that name is unfamiliar, it’s because the artist formerly known as Woori changed her stage name this year and is now acting under her real name.

 In this drama, Kim Yoon-hye plays Yoon Si-yoon’s first love and best friend. Her character is described as a free spirit, the kind of person who throws herself wholeheartedly after something she wants. Ha, well if the thing she wants is the hero, she’ll have to settle for disappointment since he’s set up to romance Park Shin-hye. 

The two ladies have actually gone head-to-head before; Kim Yoon-hye played Park’s rival in last year’s You’ve Fallen For Me, where their characters were both up for the lead in the big anniversary musical production. Maybe one of these days Kim will manage to win the upper hand, but it’ll have to be in a different drama — maybe third time’ll be the charm?

Flower Boy Next Door premieres January 7 on tvN.
